Board

I am stuffing a 20 pound Organic Turkey today with Bread cubes,  Herbs,  apples, prunes, onions and brandy  for our family dinner tonight.  I will put it in the oven at noon so it will be ready for dinner.

   My daughter and her husband are driving north from Seattle to my Condo here in Stanwood.  The drive will take about 1,5 hours.  

    Meanwhile I am watching the annual Macy's Parade in New York City.  How nice - the Chinese government put on a beautiful  float among the marchers.   The parade goes on for hours.  It is a little hard to cook and watch at the same time.

    It is a national holiday.  I remember driving to my Oma's house for thanksgiving in the mid 20th century.  Now I am the matriarch of the family.
