Wolfgang I'm going to fix a few things in your post: ... but yas... that's what most people here want (: I have been living in Austria at the outskirts of Vienna since I was born. So, I really don't know what to say, so just ask questions perhaps, and if you want to, you can correct my spelling errors (they are everywhere)!
Shy Gal Read a book. No, seriously.
Stuart http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/39532/in-the-outs... and https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/outskirts (20 example sentences all using "on the outskirts"). (I do think that you might use "at the outskirts" in a sentence like "We arrived at the outskirts of Vienna just as the sun was setting". Maybe!)
Wolfgang That is weird.
Stuart I'm not sure that I enjoy being referred to as "that"!
Suppi Black I have the same struggle. I really want to improve my englisch especially talking. The thing is you learn it in school and if you didnt work on it further after graduate you getting pretty bad in it. My best englisch conversations I had after a few drinks. I guess its easier without thinking to much about what you wanna say. You can complain it to a driver licence you did and never drove a car again. Youre still able to drive but youre to afraid that it just ends in a catastrophe. Sry for my faults..Iam here to improve that.
Ervin-secure Hello Suppi, Drinking surely helps to become fluent sometimes : ). Let me correct your paragraph. I really want to improve my English, not Englisch, das ist Deutch : ). especially speaking. after graduation. you are going to get bad in it. pretty bad yeah : ) I had my best English conversations after a few drinks, yeah I understand you : ). it's easier yeah : ) "You can complain it to a driver licence you did and never drove a car again" - How do you complain to a driver license? Perhaps you meant, you blame it on the driver's license? Makes no sense. Usually people with a valid license are able to drive, but yeah there is always the fear that it might end in catastrophe. But believe me, making mistakes in driving and making mistakes in English does not end, at least does not usually end in the same kind of catastrophe. I would prefer the second "catastrophe" ;) . Sorry for my mistakes, mistake here, not fault. |
